Final Post

In ESL class my teacher asked me to do what I don't know at all and learned it. I chose magic tricks especially card manipulation which that I would have done if I had opportunity like this in other school or in my free time. I had great time while doing the magic tricks and actually I practiced and I did the magic tricks. I made the Video about the magic tricks. I made the Knowledge stage. In the knowledge stage, I still learned about how to do the magic tricks, and find the supplies and things to make the magic tricks better and awesome. Then I made Comprehension stage. In this stage I showed people the way card manipulation works and how to practiced it. I actually did the magic tricks (card manipulation) in Application stage.The last thing what I have to do is my analyze stage, and I'm going to answer correctly and simply the UOI questions.

Magic How do I communicate my understanding of magic with people?

I tried to communicate with people and audiences, but I failed to communicate with people and I failed to show people what is card manipulation and is it fun to learn.

I think I didn't do well on this project because I was too busy with other things and too much playing and I accepted the project not serious enough until I got behind by my magic tricks project, and I did it very poor effect and very low effect.

Second thing mistake and problem was that I should have made the video more contended Also my videos were less contended videos. I failed to make the videos look nice and I should have made the videos look nice and interesting for people to watch and learn, but I failed to do that.

My magic trick movie (card manipulation)

I made this video and actually perform and told you how to do the magic trick. I will 

• Explain how the card manipulation (Sleight of hand revealed) perform ?
• Compare the difference between card manipulation and Illusions magic ?
• Predict what would be difficult in these magic tricks and discuss why it’s difficult.

How to do magic tricks and 3 famous magic tricks in the world

Hello my name is Kim Min Chang and I'm doing my project "learn what you can't do and you don't know anything about it please enjoy my video and now I'll write a paragraph of one of the magic tricks that I'll be showing next 9 weeks.

I'll write about different kinds of famous magic tricks and the first one is Sleight of Hand move revealed also known as Card manipulation. This magic tricks most rely on fast hands and elastic hand, and also if the magicians hand are big and wide that would help when you'r performing magic tricks.

I'll tell you more about Card manipulation also known as sleight of hand move revealed because I'am the huge fan of magic and my favorite magician is David copperfield and from all his magic tricks even the vanishing one, but I still like card tricks because the way of the card manipulation and it's cool(My own thoughts).

The second magic tricks is "Illusion" magic tricks. These magic tricks don't have particular each one of magic tricks but we call "Illusion" magic tricks. It means magics that performed to people that tricks and make audience lose concentration on the detailed things that actually magicians hid from the audience. Audience god tricked and they think it's real magic.

The third magic trick is body cut magic trick , the more detailed information about this magic is that only trained or mastered magicians do this kind of magic because it's dangerous for the rookies or newly magicians that just find their job as magicians and body dispersion magic is cutting parts of body with tricks and also "Illusion" trick and usually people say "whooah !" and surprised because they didn't know the secret behind the magic, and they also think that it's real magic and body is cutting off.

Reflection verb

While i was making this verbs video (movie). I was fun because the things that i like and that i used to do and my hobbies are the main subject for the movie.

If i could make another video or movie for verbs, i will make it even better than this one and make it good movie for the people to watch.

Parts of speech

This video is about Adjectives, Adjectives are words that describe nouns. in this video i use adjective words. pretty, smiley, grey, blue, purple, blank, handsome, cool, skillful, practiced, polite, funky, hilarious, numerous and ext.

The funny things while i was writing i enjoyed making video because i used my favorite videos and make it better by using adjective words and i'm a little ashamed because the beat is a little bit lame and not good. If i could make it again, i will make it better than this one.

Grammer

I learned about grammar and the thing that was fun to study was part of speech. part of speech are the eight categories that makes the English language. the categories are Noun, Adverb, Adjective and verb. noun is a thing, person, place  and ideas. Adverb describe or mortified verb or sometimes adjective, adverbs. Adjective is describe  noun. Verb describe an action is doing something which is throw, jump, sink. Singular noun is a noun that is only one and plural noun is a noun more than one. abstract noun is a noun that we cant touch, smell, see, hear, and taste it like for example anger, sadness, happiness ..

Compound noun is a noun that combine two words to make a new word. these part of speech are useful for our language conversation and learning skills for our grammar. i learned many things from part of speech also the capital letters, like proper nouns, it has to be capital letters because it's a name of specific name.

 Flickr was the cite that I could fine many pictures according to topics and it was good.

Harry Potter series

Harry potter series has been my favorite movie and film series since the first Harry potter series and it's Harry Potter and the chamber of secret. because of the magic and wizard things I was a fan of Harry Potter and i bought all of the Harry Potter series books even it was really hard to read all of the books because i'm actually i'm not a good reader and i'm not really like reading but because I really like Harry Potter, so I read all of the Harry Potter series and make some comics my own. and i was really happy when I did that and now I'm really hopping to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows the second part that Harry challenges Voldemort and I doubt that it would be really nice and awesome movie.

Now my hobby changes into reading, and listening to musics and while I'm reading books or comics I also read all the stories now and try to understand what books/comics story lines. and I've made some comics that I made myself and I was really happy while I was making it. I'm a fan of Harry Potter series and the fan of J.K Rowling.  for more informations click here

Inquirer

I was really curious about the storyline's of harry potter series. first of all i searched in internet and i bought books from harry potter and the sorcerers stone, harry potter and the secret chamber, harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban, harry potter and the goblet of fire, harry potter and the fire of phoenix, harry potter and the half blooded prince, harry potter and the deathly hallows. i read all of these harry potter series only by reason i was really curious about harry potter series. and after i read all of these books, i tried to make some comic(books) by myself,  even thought it wasn't as good as real harry potter comics, but i was really happy to see what i've done only by reason i was very curious.

Then i made some of re-view story of harry potter series, i made short stories of harry potter series and i was very proud of myself that i could make such a thing and that was a first time i was being inquirer for the first time and that was the first time my hobby changes into watching movies and other stuff. when i made a re-view stories of harry potter series i was very careless of the verbs, spellings, and even the vocabularies that i wrote in my own-harry potter story books. and i made re-view of harry potter series and their storyline's and i like it.

I hope that you guys can learn and if your TEKKEN maniac and good player, hope you can improved your Hwoarang skills. TEKKEN is Video games that has been taking popularity since 2004 TEKKEN 1 and until now TEKKEN has taken 1st Video games in Asia and in psp, pc, keyboard and all over the world. and this man Kwang Gyeon Jin: nickname (maDDoGJin) he is the best korean Hwoarang player in Asia and he's great !! hope you guys watch this and for more videos or information click here

Poster Reflection

We make this documentary movie film because we want to make people think when they watch my movies they could feel the sorrow and guilty to Destroyed Deforestation of course they don't have to feel like that actually just want to make them think twice think again about our living things like trees because trees are very important to us because imagine a miserable world with no trees, the air is dirty and you cannot breathe. I used Destroyed Deforestation as a title for my movie documentary because "Destroyed Deforestation" it make's me fell awful and horrible about imagining trees with no leaves and it's rotten like a rotten branch. i chose "Destroyed Deforestation" because I want to make people feel awkward and guilty so I chose this title.

First we searched pictures for the movie poster and the first thing we did was we  found a Creative Commons picture that match with our topic and mood from Flickr. I could find Creative Commons pictures for my Documentary and it match's with the topic and mood and we uploaded images to Big Huge Labs.

Then we added title, tag line, credits, tagline is the the world with emotions that makes people to watch the movie and i come up with this idea because I think should be able to save trees and reduce/avoid the deforestation. and We used Emotive Language  create a dark or sad picture and we got many informations by research. And we persuade people to watch this film Destroyed Deforestation and give them hope that we can still save the world and we can still save the trees.

Language can influence people because it can make people think and  feel the emotive and the words. It was really simple idea "Destroyed Deforestation" because it just come out from my head. Same reasons for tagline too, Trees are life's too and what will you do if the world end? both of them just come out from my head. I chose rotten trees with no leaves on it and i pick this picture because it really look's like "Destroyed Deforestation" and i like the picture.

The most thing that was really difficult to me was poster editing and doing step by step because sometimes I cant understand the language or the vocabulary but i tried and now i know how to do it. the part of the unit that was really fun and easy was making poster and emotive language. I like this unit because if was fun making posters, emotive language and i learned many things from this unit and it was very helpful for my english skills.

Destroyed Deforestation Movie Poster

Imagine a miserable world with no trees, the air is dirty and you cannot breathe. A planet filled with sorrow is a horrible place. If we are not careful, deforestation could destroy our incredible planet. Deforestation is important because Oxygen that trees provides is really important for humans, and without trees we can’t live. Did you know that in 1900, 84 per cent of Indonesia  was forest and now only 5% of Indonesia has trees? The problem is if we don’t save or replant trees that we had been burning out, we will destroy our own planet. Our future is a place where there will be so much floods and so many people could lose their homes, villages and places to live and soon in Indonesia if the trees keep chopping down. Furious storms may sometimes cause lots of water to escape from a river's course and spread fuming over dry land The resulting floods can destroy human life. Source Indonesians will lose their home and it could be pathetic desert that no one can live.This film will show what is going on in Indonesia because of deforestation, and show you how to take energized action. It will show you attractive scenes on how to replant loving trees and learn about deforestation.

Emotive Languages

A few weeks ago, my teacher told us that we are going to learn how to make an Emotive Language Presentation. Emotive language are words that show emotion and make people feel emotions.

In language A, we learned how to make documentary and we learned Emotive Language so we can make advertisements for the movie(documentary).

First we created a google doc and second we made a list of emotions + words. We used a thesaurus to find more words and we learned about Creative Commons (Creative Commons are image that we are allowed to use) and then we used Flickr  to find (Images that matched with Emotive language) We used Picnik to edit images + words. Picnik is cool application because before I didn't know how to use it and now I've learned how to use it. Creative Commons, before I used this application, I used pictures in google or other web sites and take the copyright pictures, but after I know this application(new sites) now I know I have to take pictures that Creative Commons.

And then we printed images for class display. And then we used google doc presentation to combine all slides, So now we embed presentation onto our blog.

This project make us to think and using our brain more specifically
